GPS enables you to track individual assets using GPS technology and this can also be augmented by an RF/GPRS drill down capability for when GPS isn't available. You can view data in real time, and when you need it - for example, only by exception - when a certain event trigger is identified (eg. a beer keg or specific gas bottle is moved, or a planned supply chain route is deviated). Clients have also taken individual or seeded asset tracking and recovery to the next level, where RFID isn't enough - as obviously no readers are required.
